History of Jewelry

Originally the word jewelry itself was anglicized from an old French word “joule” (jewel) but it does also date further back in history and is linked to the Latin word plaything. Normally jewelry is made from only precious metals but in the past designers has utilized many other materials including wood, rock and even cloth however silver is still the most common. But the most common jewelry is Gold which looks very pretty to wearing.
